Creating Order
Our team considered the vast catalog of BGEA websites, identifying the frequently used component patterns across all sites. Working closely with their content team, we created designs for each component, ensuring that a shared visual language could be intuited across the group.
Multilingual
A core requirement of the consolidation project was to account for the various languages BGEA’s users engage in. Utilizing Strapi’s internationalization tools, we built the multi-tenant site from the ground up to accommodate multilingual content creation and consumption.
Mobile-First
After the framework and component designs were in place, our team got to work to code out the dozens of custom components BGEA’s content team would make use of. Each required a thoughtful balance of functionality toggles and restrictions, ensuring the creative team to realize their vision without veering too far from the core voice of BGEA. We also started with a mobile-first approach, creating each component’s layout in a way that would communicate well on mobile and desktop devices.
Implementation
After the library of components were built, we got to work building out each of BGEA’s sub-sites within the newly unified multi-tenant framework. This process was an all-hands approach, where close collaboration and communication with the BGEA team ensured we were porting over content that fit the priorities of the client.
